On April 19 the final performances of the St. Petersburg Eifman Ballet's London season were held at the London Coliseum. During the tour which commenced on April 15 and became the part of the UK-Russia Year of Culture 2014 the premiere of Rodin and Anna Karenina (already successfully performed in London) were presented at the Coliseum. British audience highly estimated innovative plastic language of Boris Eifman admiring the performances of the Company.



April 7, 2014

Eifman Ballet returns to London in April with the UK premiere of Rodin (April 15, 16 and 17) and Anna Karenina (April 19, two performances) based on the novel by Leo Tolstoy. The company will perform at the London Coliseum. Eifman Ballets’ London performnaces are part of the UK-Russia Year of Culture 2014 celebrating a wide ranging programme of UK cultural projects taking place across Russia and an unprecedented showcase of Russian culture in the UK.



March 22, 2014

On March 26 and 27 Anna Karenina will be performed at the Alexandrinsky Theatre. Last time this balled admired by millions of spectators was presented in St. Petersburg a year ago. British ballet lovers will be the next to see this production: in mid-April Eifman Ballet will visit London with Anna Karenina and Rodin.

Eifman Ballet's performances in Kiev at the National Opera of Ukraine are postponed. The new dates will be announced later. Boris Eifman corroborated this information in his interview with ITAR-TASS news agency and commented on the dramatic clash in Ukraine.
